Introduction

College is a time for growth. The experience can be both exciting and intimidating! “Why am I here?” and “What am I going to do with my life?” are two questions asked by many students. As a student Bill Johnson had these same questions, as well as concerns for his future. He had no direction, no plan, and no help. He vowed that he would not let the same thing happen to other, which is why he decided to work in higher education. Now, 19 years later, Bill continues to inspire students to follow their passions and their dreams.

Bill presents speeches and workshops to advisors that will enable them to work with their students in a more meaningful way. His presentations provides advisors with concrete tools and resources to answer the “What’s” and the “Why’s” that students may have. His highly interactive workshops will both entertain and challenge participants – not only in their work with students, but also in their work with themselves. The ultimate goal – to assist advisors in developing more meaningful relationships with their students and help them move forward in their academic and personal growth!
